Inspiration presents itself in different ways for each individual project. I think its’s so important to get to know your client, and incorporate bits and pieces of themselves in the design to make it feel like home to them. Often a whole design can develop from one single element and continue from thereon.
I believe it’s important to aspire and to be unique in many ways when it comes to design to influence people in the best ways possible. When doing an office or Residential design, I do my very best to design and custom build all furniture items specified, with a lead time of 3-4 weeks.
Designing and manufacturing my own wallpaper which can all be done in one day, helps speed the design process along. Having a unique piece against one’s wall brings great pleasure to each individual client.
Working together closely with the shopfitters and carpenters when it comes to cabinetry and other uniquely designed items is crucial, to make sure every specified detail is done to perfection.

STEP 1 – PROJECT PLANNING
After the design has been finalised, its so important to start planning the timeline of the project. Which items takes the longest to be manufactured, make deposits, plan in such a way that there are no delays.
STEP 2 – PROJECT DESIGN
Having all the most important technical drawings done with specifications, dimensions and materials so that everything can be signed off by the client to go ahead with the project without any hickups.
STEP 3 – PROJECT EXECUTION
Being on site every day, making sure that the correct drawings, measurements and specifications are being executed as per the drawings supplied.
STEP 4 – PROJECT COMPLETION
At the end of the day, when all is done, both Designer and the client should be satisfied with the end-results. “happy client, Happy life”
